I am a Senior Leader within BEAM Administration and have been a resident in Sharjah for more than 17 years. I bring to the Governing Body a wealth of expertise in strategic development, project management, leadership, and high-level negotiating skills. I have a keen interest in educational transformation and changes that meet the needs of our educational system and learners' needs, improving efficiency, strategic communication, risk management, and cost-cutting strategies.

I am passionate about the educational standards of children. I feel that a good education is something that no one can take away from you. It gives our children the right skills and confidence to meet life’s challenges. Professionally I have worked in education for more than 17 years and have been a governor for more than 10 years.

I hope to bring an informed perspective to the discussions and decisions that we make to help our students perform at their very best, be happy and enjoy learning.

American School of Creative Science has great potential. We must ensure we improve standards of achievement across all areas of the curriculum and that mediocrity is not an option.

Ms. Eman Al-Tawil–Head of Academic Standards and Quality with a distinguished educational background and a career spanning over 24 years.

She has cultivated a profound expertise in the field of education. She graduated with Honors in Math and Chemistry from Dalhousie University in Canada, followed by a master’s degree in educational studies with a focus on Curriculum Development, Leadership, and Assessments from Wollongong University. Her career began as a high school math teacher and AP instructor, where she honed her skills in teaching and curriculum development. Progressing through roles as a high school Head of Phase and head of the math department, she eventually became an Academic Vice Principal in a vocational government sector. Throughout her journey, she has remained passionate about integrating current AI advancements into educational practices, consistently striving to elevate and align the institutions she works with to meet the evolving demands of modern education.

Ms. Eman is a strong advocate for the belief that students' emotional and social well-being is crucial for academic success. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive, safe, and nurturing environment where students feel valued and understood. As the Head of Academic Standards and Quality.

With over 30 years of experience in educational administration, leadership, and management from various British and American curriculum schools in the US, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, Mrs. Majd C. Hussain is the founding Principal of the American School of Creative Science Maliha. Mrs. Majd graduated with a Bachelor’s in English Literature, from Carthage College in Wisconsin, US, and received a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education and Leadership Management, from the University of Gloucestershire, UK. She strives to create a learning community that fosters excellence, creativity, leadership, collaboration and tolerance. Majd has garnered numerous prestigious awards including the Most Inspiring CEO Award (2015), Employer of Choice Award (2015) and Chairman’s Choice "Rising Star" Award (2014), from the Bukhatir Group Management Excellence Awards

Ms Jameela Rashid Abdullah Al Muhairi is an active member in the Dubai community with a wealth of experience in the education field. She graduated from the College of Education at the United Arab Emirates University and specialized as a classroom teacher. She brings with her over 12 years of experience in teaching with expert knowledge of foundation stages having worked in both Salma Al Ansaria School for Girls, Omar Bin Al Khattab School for Boys, and Jumeirah Model School. She continues to actively serve the education community and is an active volunteer in her children’s school. 

With over 17 years of experience in education, Ms. Zainab Khamis Mubarak has dedicated her career to empowering teachers and students through innovative practices, professional development workshops, and modern educational strategies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies and a Diploma in Da’wah Preparation, bringing both academic depth and practical expertise to her work.

Having spent four years as a classroom teacher and more than thirteen years as an Educational Support and Development Specialist, Ms. Zainab has played a vital role in helping schools adapt effectively to evolving educational needs. Her leadership extended beyond academics as she successfully led a Parents’ Committee for nine years, guiding the team to achieve an “Outstanding” rating from KHDA.

In addition, Ms. Zainab has been instrumental in organizing school activities and community events, fostering stronger parent-school collaboration. As a Certified Practitioner in Mental Health and Marital Relationships, she brings a holistic perspective to education, supporting the wellbeing of both students and families.

Her passion for excellence and innovation continues to create meaningful, long-term impact within the school community.

Mr. Hassan Abbas AlBlooshi is a parent of two children at The American School of Creative Science - Nad Al Sheba. Mr. Hassan is a bachelor’s degree holder among other certificates. Mr. Hassan currently works as a Senior Firefighter Officer in the Oil & Gas Industry and has extensive experience regarding Health & Safety having worked for 15 years for Dubai Civil Defense & Ministry of Interior.

His commitment to excellence and the MOI Vision is evident as Mr. Hassan has faced a tremendous number of Emergency calls as well as serving as the Head & Member of several committees. His experience with leading & supervising firefighters and participating in athletics as an Ex-Volleyball UAE National Team, Firefighting Combat Challenge, and Spartan Race, as well as serving as a UAE Volunteerism Programs Leader gives Mr. Hassan a unique insight into how an organization can seek to enhance its operations as well as develop links with the community.

Mrs. Lana AbuQulbain is a proud parent of three students at ASCS Nad Al Sheba. She has graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the American University of Sharjah and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Sustainability of the Built Environment at the British University in Dubai.

She enjoys researching and teaching and recently had the pleasure of teaching engineering students at the British University in Dubai.

As part of her Master’s Degree, Mrs. Lana chose to focus on school spaces because she realized their importance as her children embarked on their educational journey since 2018. She has written several papers on the interior and exterior comfort of students at schools and is currently starting a research database on the condition of outdoor spaces of schools in the UAE, Dubai. She wishes to institutionalize more standards for the benefit of the students to ensure sustainability is met in each and every aspect of their school spaces by empowering students to become agents of change through the concept of co-design, extensive research and analysis, in addition to parent, teacher, school and student collaboration.

Mrs. Lana enjoys public speaking and presenting and was awarded for ‘best presentation’ during her master’s degree. She is also a passionate writer and her motherhood has given her insight on how to deliver certain Islamic topics for children and is currently working on self-publishing a children’s first book on the biography of the Prophet Mohammad PBUH in Arabic.

Sara Kimberly Hollis is the school principal of The American School of Creative Science - Nad Al Sheba. She has been a school leader for over 15 years. A significant part of her leadership journey has been within our network of schools in the BEAM Group where she has worked very closely with students as a teacher as well as a Sixth Form Leader. Thereafter, she successfully led on institutional transformation and growth agenda as the Vice Principal of the ISCS Sharjah campus since 2014 and has served as the Principal of ASCS NAS since 2020

Sara graduated with distinction from Dalhousie University, Canada with Distinction with an Advanced Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Learning and Child Development. She also gained a distinction in her PGCEi from the University of Nottingham and as well as her Master’s in Education through the University of Nottingham.

Known as a passionate educator, Sara recognizes the power education has to shape the future and believes that educators have the ability through their own action research to define what education looks like and can contribute to the growing body of academic research in the field of education. She sees educators as reflective practitioners who need to continuously examine the impact of their practices.

When it comes to our students, Sara firmly believes that it is our moral responsibility to develop well-rounded students, who don’t just excel academically, but also embody core values such as kindness, respect, and integrity. She recognizes that it is our duty to ensure that each child progresses and can pursue their interests and contribute to their society
 

Mrs. Raheema Imtiaz is the appointed psychologist ASCS Maliha. She has done MSC in Applied Psychology and has over 10 years of work experience as a Special Educator.

Mrs Raheema worked before in Dubai with two Good rated schools with the leading role of Head of Special Needs. She also got the highest score with the training certification by the Al Ta’alouf training program organized by Zayed University.

Renad Turki is an AI-in-Education strategist, lead trainer and founder of EdTech Academy, a platform that equips educators across the region to use artificial intelligence and emerging technologies effectively, ethically and purposefully. She is a Google for Education Champion and is currently completing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Emerging Technologies at Edgewood University.

Renad holds a Bachelor’s degree (cum laude) and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the American University of Sharjah. Her work as a graduate teaching assistant sparked a passion for teaching and mentoring, and after seven years in higher education she chose to specialise in AI in education. Her focus is on helping teachers see AI as a partner rather than a threat: a tool that saves time, personalises learning and makes classrooms more engaging, while never replacing the human relationships at the heart of teaching.

She has trained more than 1,000 educators and worked with over 4,000 students. Her partners include Injaz UAE, where she is Lead Trainer for national AI initiatives backed by Google and Microsoft, the UAE AI Office Summer Camp, the University of Wollongong in Dubai’s Teacher Incubator Program, and Educap by BEAM, where she designed AI and EdTech professional development for staff across all BEAM schools. A committed advocate for women in technology, she co-launched the Girls in AI Programme with GEMS Wellington, is an active member of Women in AI UAE, and has spoken at GITEX Global and the Dubai Future Foundation. She has also published peer-reviewed research on generative AI adoption in lesson planning and assessment.

Renad brings to the Governing Board expertise in digital strategy, AI policy and staff development, supporting ASCS’s commitment to innovative, future-ready learning.

Dr Nouf Alkindi is a Consultant Geriatric Psychiatrist and Neuropsychiatrist and Chair of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences at Dubai Health. She also chairs the Wellbeing Committee at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), where she leads work to support the wellbeing of the university community.

Dr Alkindi completed two clinical fellowships, in Geriatric Psychiatry and in Neuropsychiatry, at the University of Toronto and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Canada. Her clinical expertise lies in the mental health of older adults, cognitive disorders, dementia and complex neuropsychiatric conditions.

She is passionate about advancing integrated, patient-centred mental healthcare and has played a key role in developing specialised clinical services. Alongside her clinical leadership, she is committed to promoting mental wellbeing through education, research and community engagement.

Dr Alkindi brings to the Governing Board expert insight into mental health, wellbeing and service leadership, strengthening the Board’s oversight of student and staff wellbeing and supporting ASCS’s commitment to a caring, inclusive school community.
